End User Technology Compliance & Security Lead

We are seeking an End User Technology Compliance & Security Lead to strengthen the governance, security and compliance of workplace technology services. This role will provide strategic and operational leadership across end-user computing, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, collaboration tools, identity-related controls and supporting platforms. You will ensure that technology services are secure, resilient and aligned with internal policies, regulatory obligations and recognised industry standards.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining the end-user technology security and compliance framework; identifying risks and defining appropriate controls; coordinating vulnerability, patch and configuration management; and overseeing endpoint protection, encryption, device lifecycle and access management requirements. You will lead regular control assessments, audit preparation and evidence gathering, ensuring that remediation actions are clearly documented, prioritised and delivered. The role will also involve monitoring security events and compliance metrics, producing concise reports for senior stakeholders, and supporting incident response, investigations and post-incident improvement activities.

You will work closely with information security, infrastructure, service management, risk, privacy and business teams to embed secure-by-design practices into technology projects and operational processes. You will also support the development of standards, procedures and guidance, promote security awareness among technical and non-technical users, and help establish consistent controls across a complex technology environment. The successful candidate will have significant experience in end-user computing, technology risk, security governance or compliance, together with a strong understanding of endpoint management, identity and access controls, vulnerability management and audit principles. Experience with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or CIS, relevant security certifications, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels would be advantageous. You should be analytical, organised and confident translating technical risks into clear business actions.
