Sr SOC Analyst- Remote

We are seeking a Senior Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join a remote cybersecurity team responsible for protecting critical systems, applications, and data. In this role, you will monitor security events, investigate potential threats, and coordinate responses to incidents across a complex technology environment. You will serve as a senior point of contact for escalated alerts, helping to ensure that security issues are identified, contained, and resolved efficiently.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and correlating alerts from SIEM, endpoint detection and response, network monitoring, identity, cloud, and vulnerability management platforms. You will conduct in-depth analysis of suspicious activity, perform threat hunting, validate indicators of compromise, and document findings in accordance with established procedures. The role will also involve leading or supporting incident response activities, completing root-cause analysis, recommending containment and remediation measures, and contributing to post-incident reviews. You will help develop and refine detection rules, playbooks, dashboards, and operational processes while collaborating with infrastructure, engineering, compliance, and risk teams. You may also mentor junior analysts and support continuous improvement of SOC capabilities.

Applicants should have significant experience in a SOC, incident response, or cybersecurity operations environment, with a strong understanding of security monitoring, attack techniques, and investigative methodologies. Experience with SIEM and EDR technologies, log analysis, network traffic analysis, cloud security, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence is highly desirable. Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or equivalent security practices will be beneficial. Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GCIH, GCIA, CISSP, or comparable credentials are welcomed. Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are essential. This position may require participation in an occasional on-call or rotating shift schedule.
