We are seeking an Associate Information Security Analyst to support the protection of information systems, networks and data across a dynamic organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career security professional to develop practical experience across monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management and security assurance. You will work with colleagues across technology and the wider business to help identify risks, investigate potential threats and promote secure working practices.

Key responsibilities will include monitoring security alerts and events, carrying out initial triage and escalating suspected incidents in line with established procedures. You will assist with investigating phishing reports, malware detections, unauthorised access attempts and other security concerns, ensuring actions and findings are accurately documented. The role will also involve supporting vulnerability assessments, reviewing remediation activity, maintaining security records and contributing to regular reporting. You may help administer security tools, review access permissions, participate in control testing and support audits, policy updates and awareness initiatives. A proactive approach to identifying improvements in processes and controls will be highly valued.

Applicants should have a foundational understanding of information security principles, including confidentiality, integrity and availability, as well as common threats, vulnerabilities and risk management practices. Experience with security monitoring, ticketing systems, endpoint protection, identity and access management or vulnerability scanning would be advantageous. Familiarity with frameworks or standards such as ISO 27001, NIST or Cyber Essentials is desirable, but training and development support will be available. Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills are essential, together with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to different audiences. You should be detail-oriented, curious and comfortable working collaboratively while handling sensitive information responsibly. Relevant qualifications in cybersecurity, information technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, are welcomed.
