We are seeking a motivated Junior Information Security Analyst to support governance, risk and compliance activities across a fast-paced technology environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their information security career who is keen to develop practical experience in risk management, security controls, regulatory requirements and assurance. You will work with colleagues across technology, operations and business teams to help maintain a strong security culture and support the continuous improvement of the organisation’s information security framework.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with security risk assessments, control reviews and the maintenance of risk and compliance registers. You will help gather evidence for internal and external audits, track remediation actions and prepare clear reports for relevant stakeholders. You may also support policy and procedure reviews, third-party security assessments, security questionnaires, exception management and the monitoring of compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards. The role will involve keeping accurate records, identifying opportunities for improvement and escalating issues appropriately while developing effective working relationships across the business.

We are looking for an individual with a genuine interest in information security, governance, risk and compliance, supported by some relevant academic, professional or practical experience. Familiarity with frameworks or standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2 or PCI DSS would be beneficial, as would an understanding of risk assessment, audit processes and information security controls. You should be analytical, organised and comfortable working with detailed information, while also able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and willingness to learn are essential. Relevant certifications, such as Security+, ISO 27001 Foundation or equivalent, are welcomed but not required.
