We are seeking a Cyber Lead PMO professional for an 18-month fixed-term contract to support the delivery of a strategic cyber security change portfolio. This role will provide structure, governance and oversight across multiple workstreams, ensuring that programmes are planned effectively, risks are managed proactively and outcomes are delivered to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards. You will work closely with cyber security leaders, technology teams, business stakeholders and external partners to coordinate activity and maintain clear, accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining PMO governance, plans, milestones, RAID logs, dependency maps and resource forecasts. You will prepare management information, dashboards and governance packs for senior forums, track financial performance and delivery progress, and ensure actions and decisions are recorded and followed through. The role will also involve supporting portfolio planning, prioritisation and assurance; coordinating status updates across workstreams; identifying emerging delivery issues; and facilitating effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will help embed consistent project management standards, improve reporting processes and contribute to continuous improvement across the cyber change function.

The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a PMO, programme management or portfolio delivery environment, ideally within cyber security, information security, technology or a similarly complex regulated setting. You will be confident managing governance across multiple concurrent initiatives and producing concise, high-quality information for senior audiences. Strong organisational, analytical and stakeholder management skills are essential, together with the ability to challenge constructively, work independently and influence without direct authority. Experience with cyber security frameworks, risk management, financial tracking, delivery assurance and project management tools would be advantageous. A recognised project or programme management qualification, such as PRINCE2, MSP, PMI or equivalent, is desirable.
