We are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to lead and strengthen security practices within a fast-paced fintech environment. This is a hybrid opportunity for a security professional who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, helping protect sensitive financial data, customer information and critical technology platforms. You will work closely with technology, risk, compliance, product and operational teams to ensure security is embedded across the business.

Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining the information security strategy, policies, standards and controls; managing security risk assessments and treatment plans; and overseeing incident response, investigation and post-incident improvement activities. You will support vulnerability management, threat monitoring, access control, security awareness and third-party risk management, while ensuring that security requirements are considered throughout the software development and change lifecycle. The role will also involve preparing management reports, tracking key risk indicators, coordinating audits and supporting compliance with relevant financial services, privacy and information security regulations.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in information or cyber security, including responsibility for security governance, risk management and operational controls. Experience within fintech, banking, payments or another regulated environment is highly desirable. You should have a strong understanding of recognised security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2 or PCI DSS, together with practical knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, vulnerability management and incident response. Relevant professional qualifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or equivalent experience, would be advantageous. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to explain technical risks clearly, influence decision-making and lead security initiatives in a collaborative, pragmatic manner.
