Agentic AI Security Specialist
We are seeking an Agentic AI Security Specialist to help design, assess and protect intelligent systems that can plan, make decisions and take action with limited human intervention. In this role, you will work across artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, engineering and risk teams to ensure that agentic applications are secure, resilient, transparent and aligned with organisational policies. You will contribute to security architecture, threat modelling and control design for AI agents, orchestration platforms, tool integrations, data pipelines and associated cloud environments.
Your responsibilities will include identifying risks such as prompt injection, data poisoning, model manipulation, insecure tool use, excessive permissions, unauthorised autonomous actions, sensitive data leakage and supply-chain vulnerabilities. You will develop and maintain security requirements, testing frameworks and monitoring approaches for agent behaviour, access controls, identity management, secrets handling and human-in-the-loop safeguards. You will conduct adversarial testing, red-team exercises and risk assessments, investigate incidents and recommend practical remediation. You will also help establish governance for agent development and deployment, including approval processes, auditability, logging, documentation and ongoing performance and security evaluation.
The successful candidate will have experience in AI or machine-learning security, application security, cloud security, or a closely related discipline, with a strong understanding of large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents and modern software engineering practices. Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001 or secure development methodologies is desirable. Experience with Python, APIs, cloud platforms, security testing tools and identity technologies would be advantageous. You should be comfortable translating complex technical risks into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with sound judgement, curiosity and a proactive approach to emerging threats. Relevant professional certifications or a degree in cybersecurity, computer science or a related field are welcomed.
