Operational Technology Cyber Security Consultant (All Levels)
We are seeking Operational Technology Cyber Security Consultants at all levels to support the protection and resilience of industrial control systems, operational technology (OT) environments and critical infrastructure. Working with clients across complex and highly regulated sectors, you will help assess cyber risk, strengthen security capabilities and deliver practical solutions that protect safe, reliable operations. This is an opportunity for professionals ranging from developing consultants to experienced specialists who want to work on varied, technically challenging assignments.
Responsibilities may include conducting OT and industrial control system security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and evaluating risks across networks, devices, applications and supporting processes. You will contribute to the development of security strategies, policies, standards and operating models, and help design secure architectures for new and existing environments. The role may also involve network segmentation, asset discovery, threat modelling, incident response planning, vulnerability management, security monitoring, compliance reviews and supporting the implementation of industry frameworks and controls. You will prepare clear reports and recommendations, present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and work collaboratively with engineering, IT, risk and operational teams to deliver sustainable improvements.
We welcome applications from candidates with experience in OT, ICS, SCADA, industrial networking, cyber security, systems engineering, risk management or a closely related discipline. Relevant experience with standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, NIS2 or the Purdue Model is advantageous. Familiarity with common industrial protocols, Windows and Linux environments, vulnerability assessment tools, security architecture or incident response will be valued. Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills are essential, along with the ability to understand operational priorities and translate technical risks into practical business actions. Professional certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, GRID, CISM or ISA/IEC 62443 are beneficial but not mandatory. All levels are encouraged to apply, with tailored development, mentoring and opportunities to work on meaningful security programmes.
