We are seeking a proactive and experienced Cloud SecOps Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our cloud security operations, ensuring the highest level of security for our cloud-based environments. You will lead a team of security professionals, guiding them in implementing security best practices, conducting vulnerability assessments, and managing security incidents. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly in platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. You should possess a deep understanding of security protocols, encryption standards, and identity management. Key responsibilities include coordinating security assessments, implementing threat detection mechanisms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into the DevOps lifecycle. You will also be instrumental in providing training and support to staff on security-related matters, fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security or related fields, with at least 2 years in a leadership position. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security Specialty are highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication abilities, will be essential as you engage with stakeholders at all levels.
