Security & Compliance Administrator

We are seeking a Security & Compliance Administrator to support the effective management of information security, regulatory compliance and organisational risk. This role will help maintain robust policies, procedures and controls, ensuring that security and compliance requirements are understood, implemented and consistently followed across the business. You will work with colleagues and external stakeholders to promote secure working practices and contribute to the continual improvement of governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities will include maintaining security and compliance documentation, registers, policies and evidence repositories; coordinating periodic reviews, audits, assessments and certification activities; monitoring actions arising from audits, risk assessments and security incidents; and preparing clear reports for relevant managers and governance forums. You will assist with access reviews, supplier due diligence, data protection activities, business continuity exercises and records management. The role will also involve supporting security awareness initiatives, tracking mandatory training, responding to information requests and helping investigate and document potential breaches or non-compliance. You may be required to liaise with technology, operational, legal and third-party teams to ensure agreed controls are operating effectively.

The successful candidate will have experience in an information security, compliance, risk, governance or administrative role, ideally within a regulated or technology-focused environment. You should be highly organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple deadlines while handling sensitive information appropriately. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, together with the ability to interpret policies and requirements and translate them into practical actions. Familiarity with data protection principles, security frameworks, audit processes, risk management or standards such as ISO 27001 will be advantageous. A proactive, collaborative approach and a commitment to confidentiality, accuracy and continuous improvement are expected.
