Solution Architect (Agentic Identity & Access Security)
We are seeking a Solution Architect specialising in Agentic Identity & Access Security to design secure, scalable and intelligent approaches for managing identities, access rights and autonomous software agents. You will shape architecture strategies that support the safe adoption of artificial intelligence, automation and agent-based technologies across complex enterprise environments. Working with security, engineering, platform and business stakeholders, you will translate organisational objectives into practical technical solutions that balance innovation, usability, resilience and regulatory expectations.
Your responsibilities will include defining target architectures, reference patterns and security principles for workforce, customer, machine and agent identities. You will design controls for authentication, authorisation, privileged access, secrets management, delegation, identity proofing, policy enforcement and continuous monitoring. You will assess how autonomous agents discover resources, make decisions and act on behalf of users or services, ensuring that permissions are bounded, traceable, revocable and aligned with least-privilege principles. You will also evaluate emerging identity and security technologies, lead architecture reviews, document risks and dependencies, and support delivery teams from strategy through implementation. Where required, you will contribute to incident readiness, threat modelling, governance processes and the development of security standards.
The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in enterprise security architecture, identity and access management, cloud security or a closely related discipline. You will have strong knowledge of IAM and zero-trust concepts, modern authentication protocols, role- and attribute-based access control, privileged access management, API security and policy-as-code approaches. Experience with artificial intelligence, autonomous agents, identity governance, distributed systems or secure software development will be highly valued. You should be comfortable communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, influencing senior stakeholders and working effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Relevant professional certifications in security, cloud or architecture are advantageous, alongside a pragmatic mindset, strong analytical skills and a commitment to building trustworthy, auditable and human-centred security solutions.
