IT Helpdesk & Security Engineer (12-month FTC)
We are seeking a dedicated IT Helpdesk & Security Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries, providing exceptional support to end-users while ensuring the security of our IT systems. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and maintaining IT documentation. You will also be responsible for monitoring security alerts, conducting routine security audits, and implementing best practices to safeguard sensitive information.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of IT systems and security protocols, with experience in a helpdesk environment. Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, along with knowledge of networking concepts, is essential. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
