We are seeking an experienced Operational Resilience & Security Manager to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of operational resilience and security frameworks. This role will help ensure that critical services, systems and processes remain protected, recoverable and capable of meeting business and regulatory expectations during disruption. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, risk specialists and operational leaders to identify vulnerabilities, strengthen controls and promote a culture of resilience across the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include maintaining the operational resilience framework, including business impact assessments, scenario testing, important business service mapping, recovery planning and resilience reporting. You will coordinate business continuity and disaster recovery activities, oversee the testing schedule and track remediation actions through to completion. The role will also support the development and review of security policies, standards and procedures; contribute to risk assessments and incident response planning; and help ensure that security and resilience requirements are embedded into projects, third-party arrangements and day-to-day operations. You will monitor emerging threats, incidents and regulatory developments, providing clear recommendations and management information where appropriate.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in operational resilience, business continuity, information security, risk management or a related discipline, ideally within a regulated or complex environment. You should be confident interpreting policy and regulatory requirements, assessing operational risk and translating technical or complex issues into practical actions for varied audiences. Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical and organisational skills are essential, together with experience leading exercises, managing remediation programmes and producing concise reports for senior decision-makers. Relevant professional qualifications in resilience, security, risk or continuity management are desirable. A pragmatic, collaborative approach and the ability to remain calm and decisive during incidents will be highly valued.

We are seeking an Operational Resilience & Security Manager to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of operational resilience, business continuity and security practices across a complex organisation. This role will help ensure that critical services remain available, secure and recoverable during disruption, while supporting compliance with relevant regulatory, legal and industry requirements.
You will own the operational resilience framework, including business impact assessments, important business service mapping, impact tolerances, continuity strategies, recovery planning and scenario testing. Working with stakeholders across technology, operations, risk, compliance and third-party management, you will identify vulnerabilities, assess emerging threats and coordinate practical remediation plans. You will also oversee the organisation’s information and physical security arrangements, contributing to policies, standards, risk assessments, incident response procedures, crisis management and post-incident reviews. The role will require regular reporting to senior leadership, clear communication of risk and the ability to provide assurance that controls are effective and consistently applied.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in operational resilience, business continuity, information security, risk management or a closely related discipline. You will be confident interpreting regulatory expectations and translating them into proportionate, workable controls and processes. Strong knowledge of recognised resilience and security frameworks, incident and crisis management, disaster recovery, supplier risk and control testing is highly desirable. You should be an analytical and pragmatic problem solver with excellent stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels. Relevant professional qualifications in business continuity, information security, risk or resilience would be advantageous.
