We are seeking a Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) Consultant to help design, implement and enhance secure, customer-focused identity solutions across digital channels. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to understand customer journeys, translate requirements into scalable CIAM capabilities and support the delivery of seamless, secure authentication and authorisation experiences.

In this role, you will provide expertise across customer identity lifecycle management, registration, authentication, single sign-on, consent, profile management, account recovery, federation and access governance. Responsibilities will include gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements, assessing existing identity processes, developing target-state designs, supporting platform configuration and integrations, and contributing to migration and implementation plans. You will help ensure solutions align with security, privacy, regulatory and accessibility requirements, while balancing customer experience with effective risk management. You may also contribute to application programming interface (API) design, test planning, incident resolution, operational procedures and continuous service improvement.

The successful candidate will have practical experience delivering or advising on CIAM, IAM or related digital identity programmes, ideally within complex enterprise environments. You should understand standards and protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML and SCIM, together with identity lifecycle controls, multifactor authentication and privileged access concepts. Experience with one or more CIAM or IAM platforms, cloud technologies, API-led integration and agile delivery methods would be advantageous. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential, as is the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. A security-minded, collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering reliable, inclusive customer experiences are required.
