We are seeking a Senior Mobile Security Technical Specialist to lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of security controls across mobile applications, devices and supporting platforms. You will provide technical expertise throughout the software development lifecycle, from architecture and threat modelling through to testing, release and operational monitoring. Working closely with engineering, product, infrastructure and risk teams, you will help ensure that mobile services are resilient, privacy-conscious and aligned with recognised security standards.

Your responsibilities will include conducting mobile application security assessments, code reviews, penetration tests and vulnerability investigations across iOS and Android environments. You will develop practical remediation guidance, validate fixes and track security improvements through to completion. The role will also involve defining secure development patterns, maintaining mobile security requirements, supporting incident response, analysing emerging threats and advising on authentication, cryptography, secure storage, API protection, jailbreak or root detection, mobile device management and third-party SDK risks. You will contribute to security tooling, automation and technical documentation, while helping to raise security awareness among development and delivery teams.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in mobile application security, mobile penetration testing or a closely related technical security discipline, with strong knowledge of iOS and Android architectures, common mobile attack techniques and relevant standards such as OWASP MASVS and MSTG. Experience with tools for dynamic analysis, reverse engineering, traffic interception and source-code review is expected, along with the ability to script or automate repeatable security checks. Professional security certifications are desirable, as is experience in regulated or high-risk environments. You should be comfortable explaining complex technical issues to varied audiences, influencing without direct authority and balancing robust security with usability, delivery timelines and business needs.
