We are seeking a skilled Lead DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive the implementation of security practices within our DevOps processes. In this role, you will lead initiatives to integrate security across the development lifecycle, ensuring that security is a foundational component of our software delivery. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to establish best practices, automate security tools, and monitor compliance with security policies. Your expertise will be critical in identifying and mitigating potential security risks while fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization.
Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing security protocols and frameworks, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for automating security testing and monitoring processes, as well as developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with a strong focus on security. Additionally, you will mentor team members in secure coding practices and the use of security tools, empowering them to take ownership of security in their respective areas.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud security, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code principles. You should have hands-on experience with security tools and frameworks, as well as a solid background in software development and system administration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities, are essential for this role.
