In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of advanced security solutions that protect our firmware and operating systems from evolving threats. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security requirements, assess risks, and develop comprehensive security strategies that enhance the overall security posture of our products. Your expertise will be essential in conducting threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and creating security guidelines and best practices for firmware and OS development.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of security protocols, cryptographic algorithms, and secure coding practices. You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest security trends and technologies, providing thought leadership and guidance to internal teams. Additionally, you will lead the evaluation of third-party components and tools, ensuring they align with our security standards. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be responsible for articulating security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

To succeed in this role, you should have a proven track record in security architecture, with a focus on firmware and operating systems, as well as experience with embedded systems security. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is required, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP or CEH.
