We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Manager to lead the development, operation and continuous improvement of identity and access management (IAM) capabilities across a complex technology environment. This role will help protect critical systems and information by ensuring that the right people have appropriate access at the right time, while supporting secure and efficient business operations. You will work closely with information security, technology, compliance, human resources and business stakeholders to deliver robust access management practices aligned with organisational risk requirements.

Key responsibilities include owning IAM policies, standards, processes and control frameworks; managing user lifecycle activities such as onboarding, changes, transfers and offboarding; and overseeing role-based access control, privileged access management, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication services. You will lead access reviews, entitlement certifications and segregation-of-duties controls, investigate access-related incidents, and ensure timely remediation of identified risks. The role will also involve managing IAM suppliers and technology partners, monitoring service performance, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to audits and regulatory assessments. You will identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve user experience and strengthen security through modern identity solutions.

Applicants should have substantial experience in identity and access management, cybersecurity or a related technology discipline, together with a strong understanding of IAM principles, governance and risk management. Experience with directory services, cloud identity platforms, privileged access tools, SSO, MFA, access governance and automated provisioning is highly desirable. You will be confident interpreting security requirements, developing practical solutions and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver change in a controlled environment. Relevant professional qualifications in information security, audit, risk or technology are advantageous.
