We are seeking a dedicated Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a SOC Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's information systems and data. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring security alerts and incidents, analyzing security events from various sources, and responding to potential threats in real-time. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of security measures and protocols, while also providing insights and recommendations for improving our security posture.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security frameworks, incident response procedures, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools. You will be responsible for documenting incidents, conducting investigations, and performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences. Additionally, you will assist in the development and execution of security awareness training for staff, contributing to a culture of security within the organization. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential as you will be required to report findings and collaborate with various stakeholders.
To qualify for this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a security operations role is preferred.
