In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR, and implementing best practices for data governance across the organization. You will serve as the primary point of contact for data protection inquiries, guiding our teams in data handling and processing activities while conducting risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and delivering training programs to enhance awareness of data protection protocols among staff members.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data protection laws and frameworks, with at least 5 years of experience in a data protection or compliance role. You should have a proven track record of successfully managing data protection projects, including the development of privacy policies, data processing agreements, and incident response plans. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in an accessible manner are essential. Additionally, you must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments. A relevant certification, such as CIPP/E or ISO 27001, is highly desirable.
