Launch your career in cyber security through a structured graduate programme designed for individuals who want to help protect critical systems, sensitive information and essential services. You will join a collaborative security team and gain practical experience across a range of cyber security activities, while developing the technical, analytical and professional skills needed for a successful long-term career. The programme will provide opportunities to work with experienced specialists, contribute to meaningful projects and build an understanding of how security supports complex, highly regulated environments.
Your responsibilities may include monitoring and investigating security alerts, supporting vulnerability assessments, contributing to risk analysis and assisting with the development and review of security controls. You could also help maintain security documentation, participate in incident response activities, support identity and access management, and contribute to assurance, audit and compliance work. Depending on business needs and your interests, you may gain exposure to areas such as threat intelligence, security architecture, penetration testing, cloud security, secure development or security awareness. You will be expected to communicate findings clearly, maintain accurate records and work responsibly with confidential information.
We are looking for graduates who are curious, conscientious and keen to learn. You should have, or expect to achieve, a degree in cyber security, computer science, information technology, engineering, mathematics or a related subject, although relevant practical experience and demonstrable interest may also be considered. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with good written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with networking, operating systems, scripting, security principles or common cyber threats would be beneficial. You should be willing to undertake background screening where required, work effectively as part of a team and show integrity, adaptability and a commitment to continuous professional development.
