In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the response to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring that all incidents are effectively contained, eradicated, and recovered from as swiftly as possible. You will develop and implement incident response plans, conduct thorough investigations, and provide detailed reports on incidents and their resolutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential, as you will work closely with IT, legal, and compliance departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to incident management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, particularly in incident detection, response, and recovery. You should possess excellent analytical skills and be adept at evaluating security incidents, identifying potential threats, and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate risks. A deep understanding of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO, and CIS, is highly desirable. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of security awareness, and conducting post-incident reviews to improve our overall incident response capabilities.

To succeed in this role, you must hold relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or GIAC) and have significant experience in cybersecurity operations, preferably with a focus on incident management.
