We are seeking an experienced Head of Cyber Security to lead the development and delivery of a robust, organisation-wide cyber security strategy. This is a senior leadership role responsible for protecting information, systems, applications and services against evolving threats while enabling secure business growth. You will provide clear direction on cyber risk, advise senior stakeholders, and promote a strong culture of security, resilience and accountability across the organisation.

You will own the security governance framework, policies, standards and assurance processes, ensuring alignment with relevant legislation, regulatory expectations and recognised industry frameworks. Responsibilities will include leading security operations, threat monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, identity and access management, security architecture, penetration testing and business continuity planning. You will oversee the identification, assessment and treatment of cyber risks, maintain effective incident management and recovery capabilities, and ensure that lessons learned are translated into measurable improvements. The role will also manage security suppliers, budgets and performance metrics, while providing regular reports and recommendations to executive leadership and relevant governance forums.

The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in cyber security leadership, with a strong understanding of risk management, security controls, cloud environments, data protection and operational resilience. Professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or equivalent experience are desirable. You will be an influential communicator, capable of translating complex technical issues into clear business advice and building effective relationships with colleagues, partners and external stakeholders. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, managing cyber incidents and delivering security transformation programmes is essential. A proactive, pragmatic and collaborative approach, together with sound judgement and a commitment to continuous improvement, will be key to success in this position.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Security Advisor to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of effective security arrangements. In this role, you will provide trusted advice to stakeholders, helping to identify security risks, strengthen resilience and ensure that appropriate controls are applied across people, processes, technology and physical environments. You will contribute to a positive security culture and promote practical, risk-based solutions that support operational objectives.

Your responsibilities will include conducting security risk assessments, reviewing policies and procedures, monitoring compliance and advising on appropriate mitigation measures. You will support incident management activities, including the assessment, recording, escalation and follow-up of security incidents, and assist with investigations where required. The role will also involve maintaining risk registers, preparing reports and briefing materials, supporting audits and assurance reviews, and tracking actions through to completion. You may contribute to security awareness programmes, training sessions, exercises and communications designed to improve understanding of security responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have experience in a security, risk, compliance, resilience or assurance role, with the ability to interpret requirements and translate them into clear, workable recommendations. Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills are essential, along with sound judgement and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels. You should be comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners. A relevant professional qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience is desirable. Knowledge of recognised security, risk management, business continuity, information assurance or protective security frameworks would be advantageous.
