In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing our data protection strategy and ensuring compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations. Your primary duties will include conducting audits, advising on data protection impact assessments, and managing data breaches. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for all data protection inquiries and work collaboratively with various departments to implement best practices in data governance and security.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data protection laws and principles, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. You should have excellent analytical skills, the ability to communicate complex information clearly, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A relevant qualification in data protection or privacy, such as CIPP/E or similar, is highly desirable. Additionally, you will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to effectively train staff on data protection policies and foster a culture of compliance across the organization.
