This role will be responsible for protecting information, systems and services against evolving threats while supporting business objectives and regulatory obligations. You will provide strategic direction, practical advice and effective leadership across security operations, risk management, governance and incident response.
Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining cyber security policies, standards and procedures; managing security risk assessments and treatment plans; overseeing vulnerability management, penetration testing and security monitoring; and coordinating responses to cyber incidents. You will work closely with technology, compliance, audit and business teams to embed secure practices throughout the organisation. Professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or equivalent would be advantageous. You will be an effective communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to explain complex security matters clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgement, a proactive approach and the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver practical improvements in a changing environment.
