We are seeking an AI Security Operations (SecOps) Specialist to help protect artificial intelligence systems, data, infrastructure, and applications from evolving cyber threats. In this role, you will monitor security events, investigate suspicious activity, coordinate incident response, and strengthen controls across AI-enabled environments. You will work closely with security engineering, IT, data science, software development, and risk teams to identify vulnerabilities and ensure that security is built into the full AI lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include monitoring security alerts and telemetry from cloud platforms, networks, endpoints, applications, and machine learning environments; conducting triage, threat hunting, and root-cause analysis; and supporting the containment, eradication, and recovery of security incidents. You will help assess threats such as prompt injection, data poisoning, model abuse, unauthorised access, sensitive data exposure, supply-chain compromise, and adversarial manipulation. The role will also involve developing and tuning detection rules, playbooks, dashboards, and automation; maintaining incident and vulnerability records; supporting penetration testing and red-team exercises; and contributing to security reviews for models, APIs, datasets, and third-party tools.

The successful candidate will have experience in security operations, incident response, threat detection, or a closely related discipline, together with a practical understanding of AI and machine learning security risks. Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, cloud security, identity and access management, scripting, and security monitoring frameworks is expected. Experience with Python, SQL, application programming interfaces, containerised workloads, and major cloud environments is desirable. Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, cloud security, or incident handling are advantageous. You should be analytical, well organised, and able to communicate technical issues clearly to both specialist and non-specialist audiences. A proactive approach, strong investigative skills, sound judgement, and a commitment to confidentiality and continuous improvement are essential.
