We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, resilient network infrastructure across a complex technology environment. The successful candidate will help protect critical systems, applications, and data by monitoring network activity, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to security incidents. This role will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, systems, and compliance teams to ensure that security controls are effective, appropriately documented, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include configuring and managing firewalls, intrusion prevention and detection systems, secure gateways, VPNs, network access controls, and other security technologies. You will investigate alerts and suspected threats, support incident response activities, conduct vulnerability assessments, and contribute to remediation planning. The role will also involve reviewing network designs, implementing segmentation and secure connectivity, analysing logs and traffic patterns, and supporting security testing. You will maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and audit evidence, while helping to develop monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Applicants should have proven experience in network security engineering, with strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, segmentation, encryption, authentication, and common network attack techniques. Experience with firewall platforms, SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, cloud networking, and security automation is highly desirable. Relevant professional certifications in networking or cybersecurity are advantageous. You should be analytical, methodical, and confident working during security incidents, with the ability to communicate technical risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining current knowledge of emerging threats are essential.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to strengthen the design, implementation and continuous improvement of security controls across a complex technology environment. You will work closely with infrastructure, software engineering, cloud, operations and governance teams to identify risks, improve resilience and protect systems, applications and data. This role offers the opportunity to influence security strategy while remaining actively involved in technical delivery and incident response.
Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining secure architectures across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments; developing security standards, patterns and engineering practices; and reviewing systems, applications and infrastructure for vulnerabilities and configuration weaknesses. You will lead or support threat modelling, risk assessments, penetration testing, vulnerability management and remediation activities. The role will also involve improving identity and access management, network security, endpoint protection, logging, monitoring and detection capabilities. You will investigate and respond to security incidents, contribute to post-incident reviews, and help develop playbooks, automation and preventative controls. Clear documentation and regular communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential.
Applicants should have substantial experience in security engineering, infrastructure security, cloud security or a closely related discipline, together with a strong understanding of secure network design, operating systems, identity technologies, encryption, application security and common attack techniques. Practical experience with security monitoring and response tools, vulnerability scanners, infrastructure-as-code, scripting or automation, and major cloud platforms is highly desirable. You should be comfortable analysing complex problems, prioritising risk and explaining technical issues clearly. Relevant professional certifications are advantageous, as is experience working within recognised security frameworks and regulatory environments. We are looking for a proactive and collaborative professional who can mentor colleagues, challenge assumptions constructively and deliver pragmatic security improvements in a changing environment.
