This role will work closely with architecture, infrastructure, engineering, operations and project teams to ensure that security is embedded throughout the solution lifecycle, from initial concept and risk assessment through to delivery, testing and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities include developing security designs, reference architectures, standards and implementation patterns; translating business and technical requirements into practical security controls; and reviewing proposed solutions for risks, vulnerabilities and compliance gaps. You will contribute to identity and access management, network security, cloud security, endpoint protection, application security, encryption, monitoring and incident response capabilities. The role will also involve producing detailed technical documentation, supporting design authorities and change processes, coordinating security testing, and ensuring that identified issues are tracked through to effective remediation.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in security architecture, engineering or implementation within enterprise environments, together with a strong understanding of security principles, risk management and relevant industry frameworks. Experience with cloud platforms, secure network design, vulnerability management, security operations or DevSecOps practices would be advantageous. You should be able to assess complex technical information, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and influence delivery teams to adopt secure and practical solutions. Professional security certifications or equivalent experience are desirable. A proactive, analytical and collaborative approach is essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities, work to deadlines and maintain high standards of quality and confidentiality.

We are seeking a capable Security Administrator to support the effective operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our information security environment. The successful candidate will help protect systems, networks, applications, and data by administering security tools, monitoring alerts, investigating incidents, and ensuring that security controls remain effective. This role will work closely with technology and business teams to identify risks, respond to threats, and promote secure working practices across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include managing user access, permissions, authentication controls, and privileged accounts in line with established policies. You will monitor security events and dashboards, assess potential threats, support incident response activities, and escalate significant issues appropriately. The role will also involve maintaining endpoint protection, vulnerability management, patching, firewall and email security controls, as well as supporting configuration reviews and security testing. You will contribute to audit preparation, compliance reporting, risk assessments, and the development of accurate security documentation, procedures, and operational records.

Applicants should have practical experience in a security administration, infrastructure, service desk, or related IT role, with a sound understanding of cybersecurity principles, access management, endpoint security, networking, and incident handling. Familiarity with security information and event management tools, vulnerability scanners, identity platforms, cloud environments, and common operating systems would be advantageous. Relevant industry certifications or formal training in information security are desirable. You should be analytical, organised, and able to prioritise effectively while handling sensitive information responsibly. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role requires collaboration with technical and non-technical colleagues, clear reporting of security issues, and a proactive approach to improving the organisation’s overall security posture.
