We are seeking an experienced Identity & Access Manager to lead the development, operation and continuous improvement of identity and access management capabilities across a complex technology environment. This role will help protect critical systems and data by ensuring that users, applications and services have the appropriate access at the right time, while supporting a secure and efficient experience for colleagues, customers and technology teams.

Key responsibilities will include managing identity lifecycle processes, access provisioning, deprovisioning and periodic access reviews; maintaining role-based access control models; and overseeing privileged access management, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication and directory services. You will establish and maintain IAM policies, standards and procedures, monitor control effectiveness, and support compliance with relevant regulatory, security and privacy requirements. The role will also involve investigating access-related incidents, identifying opportunities for automation, managing third-party partners and contributing to risk assessments, audits and security improvement programmes.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in identity and access management, information security or a closely related discipline, together with a strong understanding of IAM principles, least-privilege access, segregation of duties and joiner, mover and leaver processes. Experience with enterprise identity platforms, cloud environments, privileged access tools, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Active Directory or equivalent directory technologies is highly desirable. You should be confident working with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into practical controls and communicating risks clearly. Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver improvements in a changing environment. Relevant professional or technical certifications in security, identity management or cloud technologies would be advantageous.
