We are seeking an experienced Operational Technology Security Manager to lead the protection of industrial control systems, critical infrastructure, and connected operational environments. This role will develop and implement a comprehensive OT security strategy aligned with business objectives, recognised industry frameworks, and applicable regulatory requirements. You will work closely with engineering, operations, IT, risk, and compliance teams to strengthen resilience while supporting safe, reliable, and efficient production.

Key responsibilities include maintaining the OT security roadmap, policies, standards, and governance processes; identifying and assessing cyber risks across plants, facilities, networks, and industrial assets; and overseeing the implementation of appropriate preventative, detective, and response controls. You will guide vulnerability management, secure architecture reviews, network segmentation, identity and access management, logging, monitoring, and incident response for OT environments. The role will also coordinate security assessments, audits, penetration testing, third-party reviews, and remediation plans, ensuring risks are prioritised and tracked through to completion. You will support the development and testing of OT incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans, as well as promote security awareness among operational personnel.

The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in OT, industrial control system, or critical infrastructure cybersecurity, together with a strong understanding of protocols, architectures, and technologies such as SCADA, PLCs, DCS, engineering workstations, and industrial networks. Knowledge of standards and frameworks including IEC 62443, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, or NIST SP 800-82 is highly desirable. Professional certifications in cybersecurity, risk, audit, or industrial security are advantageous. You will be a confident communicator and collaborative leader, capable of translating technical risks into clear business priorities and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in complex, safety-critical environments.
