In this entry-level position, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization's information systems and networks from cyber threats. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring security alerts, conducting initial investigations on potential security incidents, and assisting in the implementation of security measures and protocols. You will work closely with senior analysts to analyze security data, identify vulnerabilities, and support the development of strategies to enhance our security posture.

Key duties will include performing routine security assessments, maintaining security logs, and documenting incidents in accordance with established protocols. You will also be tasked with assisting in the maintenance of security tools and technologies, ensuring that they are up to date and functioning effectively. Communication is essential in this role, so you will collaborate with various departments to educate staff on security best practices and contribute to the overall security awareness of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of network security concepts and be eager to learn and grow in the field of cyber security.

To be successful in this role, you should have a relevant degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a strong desire to pursue a career in cyber security. Familiarity with security frameworks and tools, such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems, is a plus. Certification such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent is preferred but not required.
