The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data protection legislation and a proven track record in managing data protection programs. Key responsibilities include conducting regular audits and risk assessments, monitoring compliance with data protection policies, and preparing reports for senior management. You will lead incident response efforts in the event of a data breach, ensuring that all incidents are thoroughly investigated and documented. Additionally, you will liaise with regulatory authorities when necessary and stay updated on emerging trends and challenges in data protection.

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent analytical and communication skills, along with a detail-oriented approach. A professional certification in data protection, such as CIPP/E or CIPM, is highly desirable.
