We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as the Head of Data Security & IG (Deputy DPO). In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data security strategy to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations. You will lead a team of data security specialists, overseeing the design and execution of security policies, risk assessments, and incident response plans. Your expertise will guide the organization in maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical data assets.

As a key leader, you will collaborate with various departments to embed data protection practices into the organizational culture. This includes conducting regular training sessions, audits, and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures. You will also act as the primary point of contact for data protection queries and incidents, working closely with legal, compliance, and IT teams to ensure regulatory adherence. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels will be essential in fostering a strong data security posture across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data protection laws, including GDPR, and have a proven track record in managing data security frameworks. Strong analytical skills, along with experience in risk management and incident response, are critical for success in this role. A relevant professional certification, such as CIPP/E, CISSP, or similar, is highly desirable.
