A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial, as you will be required to identify and mitigate risks effectively. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.
