You should have experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with relevant certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH), is preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, are essential for success in this position.
