The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies. You should possess experience with security auditing tools and techniques, as well as familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+, is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities, are essential for effectively conveying security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
