We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Protection Manager to lead our data protection initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures, overseeing data governance, and managing risk assessments to safeguard sensitive information. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that data protection practices are integrated into all business processes and drive a culture of awareness regarding data security across the organization.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to data protection laws, such as GDPR and CCPA. You will also be tasked with providing training and guidance to staff on data protection matters, responding to data breaches, and coordinating incident response efforts. The role requires strong analytical skills to interpret data protection metrics and reporting on compliance status to senior management, while also staying abreast of evolving regulations and best practices in data privacy.

The successful candidate will possess a degree in a related field, along with relevant certifications such as CIPP, CIPT, or similar. A minimum of five years of experience in data protection or privacy management is essential, alongside a proven track record of leading data protection initiatives. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels are crucial, as is a strong understanding of data security technologies and methodologies.
