In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of IT security policies and controls to protect our information systems from internal and external threats. You will conduct risk assessments, develop and implement security strategies, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Collaborating closely with various departments, you will provide guidance on security best practices and facilitate training sessions to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.

Your duties will include monitoring security incidents, analyzing security breaches, and responding to vulnerabilities in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for conducting audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls, as well as preparing detailed reports for management on security metrics and compliance status. Additionally, you will assist in the development of incident response plans and lead investigations into security incidents, ensuring that lessons learned are integrated into future practices.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT security, with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, risk management, or controls assessment. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
