You should have a strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders are crucial for success in this role. A bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+, is highly preferred.
