We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cyber Security Engineer with a focus on Infrastructure Penetration Testing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in our systems and networks, ensuring that our infrastructure remains secure against potential threats. You will engage in hands-on penetration testing, assisting in the development and implementation of security strategies, and providing actionable insights to enhance our overall security posture. This position is available as either remote or hybrid, offering flexibility to suit your work style.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting penetration tests on various infrastructures, including networks, servers, and applications, while documenting findings and recommending remediation strategies. You will collaborate closely with other engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle. Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest security trends and threat intelligence to ensure our defenses are robust and proactive. A strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards is essential, as you will assist in maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles and penetration testing methodologies, along with experience using tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nmap. A degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications such as CEH or OSCP. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders are crucial for success in this role.
