We are seeking a Founding Platform & Security Engineer to join our dynamic startup team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate closely with our founding team to establish the technical foundation of our platform, ensuring it meets the highest security standards while supporting our rapid growth. Your expertise will drive the development of our cloud architecture, security protocols, and best practices, enabling us to deliver a reliable and secure service to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system architecture, cloud services, and security engineering. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security measures to protect sensitive data. Additionally, you will work on automating deployment processes, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues to enhance the overall stability and reliability of our platform. A proactive mindset and the ability to think critically about security challenges will be essential in this role.

Qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in platform engineering and information security. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and scripting languages (Python, Bash) is required. Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR) is highly desirable.
