We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Identity & Access Management Architect to design, develop and govern secure, scalable identity services across a complex enterprise environment. You will define the strategic IAM architecture, align it with business and security objectives, and provide technical leadership across identity governance, privileged access, authentication, authorisation and directory services. This is an influential role requiring close collaboration with security, infrastructure, applications, risk, compliance and business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include developing IAM roadmaps, reference architectures, standards and design patterns; shaping solutions for workforce, customer and machine identities; and leading the implementation of modern capabilities such as single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, role-based and attribute-based access control, federation, lifecycle automation and zero-trust principles. You will assess existing technologies, identify opportunities for simplification and improvement, and ensure solutions integrate effectively with cloud platforms, enterprise applications, directories and security tooling. The role will also involve reviewing designs, supporting technology selection, managing architectural risks and ensuring alignment with relevant regulatory, privacy and information-security requirements.
To succeed, you will bring significant experience in enterprise IAM architecture and a strong understanding of identity governance, access certification, privileged access management, authentication protocols and directory technologies. You should have practical knowledge of standards and technologies such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, LDAP and modern cloud identity services, together with experience delivering IAM solutions in large or highly regulated environments. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential, as is the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences. Relevant industry certifications in security, architecture or identity management are desirable. You will be analytical, pragmatic and delivery-focused, with the confidence to influence decisions and promote secure, consistent and user-friendly access across the enterprise.

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Identity & Access Management Architect to define and deliver secure, scalable identity capabilities across a complex technology environment. In this strategic role, you will shape the enterprise IAM roadmap, establish architectural standards, and ensure that identity services support business priorities, regulatory obligations, and evolving security requirements. You will work across infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, risk, and business teams to design resilient solutions that enable appropriate access for employees, customers, partners, and service accounts.
Your responsibilities will include developing target-state architectures and reference designs for identity governance, privileged access management, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, federation, directory services, secrets management, and role-based or attribute-based access control. You will assess existing capabilities, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and lead the evaluation and integration of IAM technologies. The role will also involve defining access models, lifecycle processes, control frameworks, and technical patterns; supporting major transformation programmes; reviewing solution designs; and providing architectural guidance through implementation. You will help establish effective monitoring, auditability, resilience, and incident response practices while ensuring solutions align with security principles such as least privilege and zero trust.
To succeed, you will bring substantial experience designing and implementing enterprise IAM solutions, ideally within large, regulated, or highly distributed environments. You should have strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid identity architectures, directory and federation protocols, authentication technologies, privileged access, identity governance, and modern security frameworks. Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Okta, CyberArk, SailPoint, or equivalent tools would be valuable. Strong stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and influencing skills are essential, along with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes. Relevant professional certifications in security, architecture, or identity management are desirable.
