You will develop and maintain cloud security standards, policies, procedures, and architecture patterns, while helping to embed security into infrastructure-as-code and continuous integration and delivery pipelines. The role will also involve supporting identity and access management, encryption, network security, logging, threat detection, incident response, and security investigations. You may contribute to audits, regulatory assessments, penetration testing, and the ongoing improvement of security monitoring and reporting.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience securing cloud environments and a strong understanding of services and security controls within platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of cloud-native security tools, infrastructure-as-code technologies, containers, Kubernetes, scripting, and automated security testing is highly desirable. You should be confident analysing complex technical issues, communicating risk to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Relevant professional certifications in cloud, cybersecurity, or information security are advantageous. A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning are essential.

We are seeking a Proxy Expert / Cloud Security Specialist to strengthen the security, availability, and performance of enterprise internet and cloud connectivity services. In this role, you will design, implement, operate, and continuously improve secure proxy, web gateway, and cloud security solutions across a complex technology environment. You will work closely with infrastructure, networking, identity, application, and security teams to protect users, systems, and data while enabling reliable business access.

Your responsibilities will include managing forward and reverse proxy platforms, secure web gateways, cloud access security controls, URL filtering, malware protection, SSL inspection, authentication, and traffic-routing policies. You will configure and maintain solutions from leading proxy and cloud security technologies, monitor service health and security events, investigate incidents, and resolve performance or connectivity issues. You will also develop technical standards, support architecture and migration projects, automate operational tasks, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to vulnerability management, risk assessments, and compliance activities. Participation in an on-call or incident-response rotation may be required.

The ideal candidate has proven experience administering enterprise proxy, secure web gateway, or cloud security platforms, together with a strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, certificates, firewalls, identity and access management, and network security principles. Experience with cloud environments, zero-trust security, SASE or SSE architectures, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code is highly desirable. You should be analytical, service-oriented, and comfortable working independently on complex technical problems while collaborating with colleagues and external partners. Relevant professional certifications in cloud, networking, or cybersecurity are advantageous, as is experience operating security services in large-scale or highly regulated environments.
