Vice President, Internal Audit (Information Security)
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader for the role of Vice President, Internal Audit (Information Security) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing our internal audit function as it pertains to information security, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of risk management, security controls, and audit methodologies. You will lead a talented team in assessing and enhancing the effectiveness of the organization's information security policies, procedures, and systems, while also identifying areas for improvement and ensuring best practices are implemented.
Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing an annual audit plan focused on information security, conducting risk assessments, and reporting on audit findings to senior management and the board. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and maintain a robust information security posture. Additional duties include providing guidance on security controls, evaluating the effectiveness of current security measures, and remaining current with emerging threats and regulatory changes to ensure the organization remains compliant and secure. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record in internal auditing or information security leadership.
To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred), relevant certifications (such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP), and a minimum of 10 years of experience in internal audit or information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and regulations is essential.
