We are seeking a Cyber Security Penetration Testing Consultant to assess, challenge and improve the security of systems, applications, networks and cloud environments. You will plan and deliver penetration tests, vulnerability assessments and red-team style engagements, identifying weaknesses that could be exploited by malicious actors and providing clear, practical recommendations to reduce risk. The role involves working across varied client environments and translating complex technical findings into concise reports suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include scoping and executing web application, mobile application, infrastructure, wireless, API and cloud penetration tests; conducting reconnaissance, threat modelling and manual security testing; validating vulnerabilities and assessing their potential business impact; and producing high-quality technical reports with prioritised remediation guidance. You will present findings to stakeholders, support remediation discussions, and may assist with retesting activities to confirm that vulnerabilities have been effectively addressed. You will also contribute to internal methodologies, tooling, knowledge sharing and the continuous improvement of security testing practices.

Applicants should have practical experience in penetration testing, ethical hacking or offensive security, with a strong understanding of common attack techniques, security controls and industry frameworks. Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit and scripting languages including Python, PowerShell or Bash is desirable. Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CREST, CHECK, GWAPT, GPEN or equivalent experience would be advantageous. Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills are essential, together with the ability to manage multiple engagements, work independently and maintain professional integrity when handling sensitive information. A methodical approach, curiosity and commitment to continuous learning are highly valued.
