Global SOC Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Global SOC Engineer to join our dynamic security operations team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our security posture by monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents across our global network. You will work with cutting-edge security technologies to analyze security alerts, investigate incidents, and implement effective incident response strategies. Your expertise will help to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems and data, while also improving our overall security processes and documentation.

Key responsibilities include conducting thorough security analyses, leveraging SIEM tools to identify threats, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining security incident response plans, as well as participating in regular security audits and risk assessments. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as you will be required to provide training and guidance to junior SOC analysts and work closely with IT and compliance teams to ensure adherence to security policies and best practices.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of security frameworks and technologies, as well as experience with incident response and threat intelligence. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell, alongside a background in network security, is highly desirable. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP or CEH, will be an advantage.
