We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Protection Officer (DPO) for our Workplace Solutions (WPS) division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing data protection strategy and implementation to ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws. Key duties include conducting regular audits, monitoring compliance, and advising on data protection impact assessments. You will serve as the primary point of contact for data subjects and regulatory authorities, addressing their queries and concerns while fostering a culture of data protection within the organization.
We require a strong understanding of data processing operations, risk assessment methodologies, and legal obligations pertaining to data protection. The successful candidate will work closely with IT, HR, and legal teams to develop and maintain data protection policies and procedures. Additionally, you will conduct training sessions for employees to raise awareness about data protection best practices. A degree in law, information management, or a related field, along with certifications such as CIPP/E or DPO certification, is essential. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also crucial for this role.
