We are seeking a highly skilled CERT Incident Responder to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents in a timely manner. You will work closely with various stakeholders to investigate security breaches, develop remediation strategies, and implement security controls to protect our organization’s information systems. Your expertise will play a critical role in developing incident response plans and participating in post-incident reviews to enhance our security posture. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this position.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of network security, malware analysis, and threat intelligence. You should have experience with incident response tools and technologies, as well as familiarity with industry standards such as NIST, ISO, and CIS. Key responsibilities include monitoring security alerts, conducting forensic analysis, and coordinating with law enforcement and external partners as needed. Additionally, you will be expected to provide training and guidance to junior team members, ensuring that best practices in incident response are followed across the organization.
To qualify for this role, you should have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in incident response or cybersecurity is required.
