We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Cyber Security to lead and enhance our organization's cybersecurity strategy. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive cybersecurity program that protects our systems, networks, and data from potential threats. You will oversee a team of cybersecurity professionals, guiding them in identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization while collaborating with various departments to integrate security best practices into all aspects of our operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, risk management, and incident response, with a proven track record of safeguarding sensitive information. Key responsibilities include conducting regular security assessments, developing incident response plans, and leading investigations into security breaches. You will also be expected to stay current with emerging threats and trends, ensuring that our security measures are proactive and robust. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will present security initiatives and findings to executive leadership and provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies.
To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, including 5 years in a leadership role. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
